Single Half Cents from 1793 to 1857

 

Half cents are the lowest face value coinage put into circulation by the US Mint. There were many varieties of Half cents minted which include Liberty Cap - Head Facing Left 1793, Liberty Cap - Head Facing Right (1794-1797), Draped Bust (1800-1808), Classic Head (1809 - 1836), Braided Hair (1840-1857).  All of our single coins are sold in a Cowens 2x2 Holder.
