1999 Statehood Quarters

1999 is the first year in the 50 statehood quarter series program. The first five states as they entered statehood are Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut. Each statehood quarter design has a Philadelphia and Denver minted circulating edition and the San Francisco mint made both the S Proof in copper-nickel and the S Silver Proof in 90% Silver. The silver proof final mintages were only 804,565, the lowest mintage 50 statehood quarters.
