2000 is the second year in the 50 statehood quarter series program. These year 2000 minted quarters in order as they entered statehood are Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Virginia. Each statehood quarter design has a Philadelphia and Denver minted circulating edition and the San Francisco mint made both the S Proof in copper-nickel and the S Silver Proof in 90% Silver.
