2001 Statehood Quarters

2001 is the third year in the 50 statehood quarter series program. These year 2001 minted quarters in order as they entered statehood are New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont and Kentucky. Each statehood quarter design has a Philadelphia and Denver minted circulating edition and the San Francisco mint made both the S Proof in copper-nickel and the S Silver Proof in 90% Silver. The 2001 silver quarter are the second lowest mintage (889,697) in the series second to the 1999 silvers.
